According to the monthly monitoring of the public opinion on the activity of the President of Azerbaijan Republic conducted by the Social Research Center, throughout October of 2019, the rating of the head of state has risen. In the public survey, in which 1, 316 respondents have taken part, 77.5% of citizens have noted the increase of the trust in the President.
The field work was conducted between October 29th-November 5th. The questionnaire consisted of 13 main, 5 demographic questions and was conducted in 3 main directions.
The results of the survey indicate that the people consider President Ilham Aliyev’s international and domestic activity significant in terms of protecting the national interests and welfare. The survey shows that there is a correlation between the deepening of reforms and the increase of the reputation and support for the President.
According to the results of the survey, respondents think that the activity of the head of state is based on their interests, demands and expectations.
The results of the survey demonstrate that the role of the public opinion is high in the President’s activity. The survey has been conducted in the economic regions of Azerbaijan.
